Description
Built for high-throughput screening, the PD240 delivers reliable detection with a wide search area and stable performance even near reinforced floors. Its digital DSP architecture is calibration-free and lets you tailor sensitivity and alarm signaling through a simple USB PC interface. An ergonomic offset grip keeps hands clear of the detection zone, and the smooth housing passes easily over clothing without snagging. Embedded rechargeable AA NiMH batteries provide over 100 hours of operation per charge, with automatic low-power mode extending runtime up to 200 hours. The detector is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and conforms to NIJ 0602.02, with readiness for the draft 0602.03 standard.
