CTX 9800 DSi couples dual-energy computed-tomography with a single X-ray source to deliver high-resolution 3-D images and automatic explosives detection at belt speeds of 0.2 – 0.5 m/s, clearing up to 1 800 bags per hour.

Description
Designed for the busiest airport and air-cargo hubs, CTX 9800 DSi’s Clarity data-acquisition system analyses every voxel for explosive signatures, then flags threats or clears clean bags without operator delay. The 1 000 × 620 mm tunnel handles oversized or elongated items up to 2.5 m long, cutting costly separate screening. Dynamic-screening commands from the baggage-handling system let each bag run in the optimal mode, while ECAC Std 3/3.1, TSA 7.2 and CAAC approvals simplify global deployment. A straight-belt layout, 880 mm load height and scalable MUX networking make retrofit or new-build integration straightforward.
