Description
The IONSCAN 600 is a compact, 10.8 kg desktop trace detector built for aviation, border, prison and event security teams that need reliable results on the move. Using a proprietary, non-radioactive ion mobility spectrometry source, the unit identifies nanogram-level particles of military, commercial and homemade explosives as well as fentanyl, cocaine and other narcotics in less than eight seconds. Hot-swappable batteries allow continuous operation away from mains power, while the 10 inch touchscreen and intuitive menu minimise training time. Disposable swabs reduce contamination risk and cut consumable costs. Certified by ECAC and CAAC, the IONSCAN 600 delivers lab-grade sensitivity with the lowest total cost of ownership in its class.
